Runny Noses

My little babies are sick. Ava has had an upset stomach for 4 days. They both have runny noses and coughs. It is so pitiful. Ava has been drinking pedialyte and eating yogurt. We have the humidifier in their rooms. I called into work Monday night, but tonight Chris is watching them while I go in for a few hours. I don't want to leave them. I haven't slept in 3 nights, because I get up every hour to check on them when they cry out. They just haven't been sleeping well, so I know we are all exhausted! I'm praying that God would dry up their noses and take away that stomach bug and that we could get a good night's rest. Pray with me.

7 Months

(Yesterday!)

• Last time we went to the doctor, you are the same weight and height. You are close to 18 pounds now and 27 inches long. 
• You are in a size 3 diaper.
• You can still wear 6 month clothes, but I'm trying to put you in some 9 month clothes too.
• You both love cell phones whenever they are near!
• You will eat almost anything! 
• You love going to church and are happy to play in the nursery.
• You love to go new places, try new things, and meet new people. 
• You smile and laugh ALL THE TIME! I love it!
• No teeth yet, but we drool 24/7.
• Starting to push up on all fours... I'm sure you'll be crawling soon! If you don't start running first.
• You are such sweet sisters. I love, love, love to see you play together! It makes my heat melt.

Dear Ava and EK, 

 I love you more than you could ever know. I enjoy spending every day, all day with you. I never take our time for granted. You both have blessed my life, and I will never be the same. I love listening to you from my bed over the monitor- hearing you babble and play. There are times when you just make me laugh out loud. You know how to cheer me up if I am down, and you can't even speak yet! I look forward to such fun, sweet times with you... tea parties, dancing, playing with dolls... You are getting so big so quickly! I pray for you both every day. That you would grow to be godly young women who love and fear the Lord. I pray for teachable moments that you and I will have. I pray that Daddy and I would be good examples, and that we would seek God in every decison. I wish you would slow down, because I feel like I don't hold you or look at you enough. Y'all change so much every day. I've had some hard days, but I've loved every second of these last seven months with you. Your sweet, tiny hearts have melted mine.

We're back! Kinda...

After almost a month of my computer being deathly ill, I've returned! It's still not completely fixed, but it is up and running... for now. I'll take what I can get.

In the meantime, this is what we've been up to.
